At a young age I realized the benefits of an active, healthy lifestyle, which began my journey and generated a new passion for life. At age 13, weighing 270 pounds, I was done just “being” and ready to start living.
Realizing every aspect of life can be transformed through the way you care for your body, I began to search for my place in the fitness
industry. As fitness became a way of life, I felt empowered to accomplish more. I began motivating and introducing others to the life that I found fulfilling and “active”.
I began working as a Fitness Attendant, guiding and monitoring members through their fitness programs. This opportunity confirmed my passion and allowed me to continue my education in the right direction. I earned a certificate of completion for the Fitness and Wellness program at WellSpring School of Allied Health. I recently became a Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
My future plan is to become a Registered Dietitian and further my career and educate my clients in fitness-based
nutrition.
